EDITORIAL
Well, it's that time of year again when hundreds of women around the world go into overdrive to prepare their families and homes for the season of Christmas. No doubt many of you have already run around countless stores, exhausted yourselves wrapping awkwardly-shaped packages and forgotten to get your greeting cards off in the mail on time. The good news is that Christmas is not just about presents, activities or good food. It is a time to remember the real good news – that of the birth of Jesus Christ our Lord! He came at a time just like ours – when the people in the world around him were so busy 'living' that all but the 3 wise men and the shepherds, totally missed the gift that God was bringing the world through this new life.

God's gift to each one of us was a precious Son, One who shed His precious blood – so that would all come to know our precious worth.

Our magazine name is 'PRECIOUS WOMAN MAGAZINE' an identity thats this reflect this very message! We are all highly values in God's eyes – men, women and children alike. However in these times when violence against women is rising at such an alarming rate, it is even more important that women like you, begin to listen, accept and walk in this truth. There is a CALL TO ACTION going out to women everywhere!!! NOW is the time for us to arise and do what we women do best - take the lead in making a lasting difference in the world around us. God wants to heal you, empower you and equip you so you too, can go out and spread this word of precious worth to your sisters over in the third world. Many of them are undervalued, mistreated, broken and forgotten. They live in countries where their womanhood marks them as second class citizens and leaves them vulnerable to abuse or neglect. Through JOINING our Precious Woman Project you together with your friends can start your own groups, host special Tea Parties, adopt other women from our villages in India, Pakistan or Africa and begin changing the lives of women today!
