Welcome to The Precious Woman Magazine FAQ Corner!

1.Can you tell me why your fall edition is not as full as your summer issue?
As the seasons of Fall and Spring are shorter than the Winter and Summer seasons, here at Precious Woman Magazine, we attempt to fill the winter and summer issues with content that will span a greater amount of time.

2.When exactly [Dates] do your issues come out because your release dates have not been consistent.
The issues dates are:
Christmas Edition: 15th December 2008
Spring Edition: 15th March 2009
Summer Edition: June 15th 2009
Fall Edition: 15th August 2009
We try our best to meet every deadline, but it is a challenge due to the small size of our team. If YOU would like to contribute to Precious Woman, please contact us at; editor@preciouswomanmag.com

3.Why are you not always publishing the pictures of contributors?
Starting from the Christmas Edition of 2009 it will be our pleasure to add the pictures of contributors and writers. Sometimes we do not because we have no permission from the authors to use their images.

4.You have so many adverts in the Magazine, why?
We are an non profit organization, the adverts placed in the magazine come from the companies that help us towards the running of Precious Woman. For every advert you “click”, Precious Woman receives money to turn the live of a woman in the third world around!! Of course if we had more substantial donations from our readers we would be able to lessen the amount of advertisements.

5.When is your Print Edition going to be available? And is it going to be available worldwide?
The Print of Edition of Precious Woman Magazine is still currently in the pipeline, though we are trying to make further plans for 2009. We will let you know when we have more information in time.

6.Are you an American Magazine because sometimes your articles have British spellings on your articles and features?
Precious Woman Magazine is a international magazine and therefore has contributors from all over the world, especially the United Kingdom. However we do attempt to make sure that most spellings are in English USA.

7.Are you non-profit?
Yes, Precious Woman Magazine is a non profit organization.

8.If yes, do you have a 501(c) status yet? If not are you planning on having one?
Our 501(c) status for Precious Woman Magazine is currently pending.

9.Can anyone write for the Precious Woman Magazine?
Yes, anyone and everyone is welcome to write for Precious Woman Magazine. For information look to the bottom of the contents page.

10. Do you pay people to write for you?
No, Precious Woman Magazine is a non profit magazine and therefore does not pay its contributors or regular writers. However the contributors or writers payment is in the form of a byline (their name) and website address(es) on the end of the feature.

11.Are you a Christian Magazine or not? If you are Christian why are there no displays of Biblical text, Christian advertisers and contributors by Pastors/Ministers in your Magazine?
Here at Precious Woman Magazine we are (the editors) Christians and we cover womens daily lifestyle issues from a very Spiritual perspective. However, we also have a large and loyal Non-Christian following and so we try to affect a balance; but our main features and spirituality section or overtly Christian.

12.You mentioned somewhere that you fight for families and seek to restore harmony in the family unit, yet see no images of families [Dads, moms, and kids] anywhere in your magazine, topics or main issues? Is this deliberate?
While we address family and cover family issues, we are a primary women's magazines. Again, it is not easy for us to find models willing to donate their own images without payment. Feel free however to send in, via email, pictures of you and your own families you wish to see featured, to editor@preciouswomanmag.com

13.How many male writers do you have? If not how do you achieve “Balance” in your Magazine issues?
Precious Woman Magazine actually has a Men's section, edited by Bishop Joseph Hopewell and we feature articles from other male contributors whenever we can. However, we are not primarily a Men's magazine, we are a womens lifestyle magazine.

14.Can you please do a feature on Women Pastors or on Women in Leadership in Church/Ministry? It'll be good to have some insight into their lives, failures and successes.
There are actually more features on Women in ministry to come in the future! It is hard to secure interviews with many women's leaders/pastors, as they are often busy with ministry and travel therefore having little time to write for or be interviewed by the Magazine. We are working on this area.

15.If I want to advertise my Ministry or Church in your Magazine, can I? And how much do you charge?
We advertise Churches/Ministries,Christians organizations and Christian businesses if their message is relevant to our purpose and calling. Please send your specific requirements to the editor@preciouswomanmag.com for advertising cost assessment.
